Dr. Gonzales is an El Paso native who attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology with a certificate in Business Management in 2016. He then attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry (Baylor College of Dentistry) where he was appointed to the Dean’s Honor List each year. He was also inducted into the National Odontologic Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) for his outstanding academic and clinical accomplishments. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2020.
He was then selected for and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he served his fourth year as Chief Resident and completed extensive training in clinic sedation, orthognathic surgery, head and neck trauma, and exodontia. He decided to move to the RGV with his wife, Jennifer, and their puppy, Maxi. He has joined Valley OMS as an associate surgeon where he practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on exodontia, implantology, and orthognathic surgery. During his free time, Dr. Gonzales enjoys traveling, fishing, spending time with family, and trying out new restaurants. He is overjoyed to be a member of the RGV community and is excited to serve the greater Rio Grande Valley!
